All because someone like this is mean to you in reviews doesn't mean you quit writing. Follow your dreams. This person has been after me since the beginning of my career and I have stopped? Inspiring The Next Generation With Kestner

https://the-anxious-author-blog.blogspot.com/2022/04/inspiring-next-generation-with-kestner.html   Not every author's journey is smooth sailing. Honestly, if yours is you should be eternally grateful, for you've been hand-picked by the gods to be pampered. Like with every form of art, there will always be critics that try to tear you down and destroy your reputation. How you respond to them can make or break you as an author. Your readers are watching you and how you react.      Amber M. Kestner, the author of lesbian romance fiction, has dealt with more drama in her time as an author than any other author I know personally. That drama has made her stronger, resilient, and determined to stand firm for the LGBTQ+ community.      Originally born in Flordia, Kestner currently resides in West Virginia. She's made it her mission to write stories for the LGBTQ+ community (with an emphasis on the lesbian community) that lets them know they aren't alone.  This interview has bee

Books, Books, and More Books!

Hello everyone, We all go through challenges as Authors even myself who has had a lot of hard work into making sure my readers have everything they want into a story. Writing books is apart of myself since 2016, it all started with Jana & Angel A Girl For Her Series: Volume 1 and exploded from there with many versions for those two characters to now so many characters that I have lost track of.  I do usually have tons of new characters lining up to be written, actually, I still do so many stories and so little time. I love all of these books, many failures, many rejects by readers, many loves from readers, some popularity, and others just not existing to readers. All of these stories stand out to me whether others approve or not. I regret many, despise others, and enjoyed writing some. I am currently on writers block and have been since A Coffee Shop Romance, I can't seem to get myself to write the stories that need to be told which is why I went back to making my Memoir much

No Shame In Self-Publishing

@shaylaleeraquel #Selfpublishing = privilege, not backup plan! #authortok #indieauthor #writertok #selfpublished #authorsontiktok ♬ Where'd All the Time Go? - Dr. Dog And I wish more Writers would see this point of view. Being self-published is nothing to be ashamed of. Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), IngramSpark, SmashWords, Draft2Digital, and many more places offers ways to get your books out there.  Traditional Publishing is a nice way to go but it takes a lot of work including getting an Agent, Beta and Alpha Readers, Editors, and so much more.  Vanity Publishing is nothing to be ashamed of either including if you have the money to go towards it. Not many Authors recommend this because it is a challenge.  My point is no matter where you choose to go there is no right or wrong answer but self-publishing shouldn't be a bad thing or last resort because you can't get with a traditional publisher. I am a self-published Author and I am proud to be part of such a huge

Publishing For 2023

Happy New Year! We are officially at 2023.  I know I said in my introduction blog that I wouldn't be Publishing this year and I barely did for 2022. So, this year if I can I will at least put 1 book out maybe 2 or 3...possibly more, we will see. Right now is just getting back into the groove of writing without any help from a Ghost Writer like I did with A Secret Love Affair and part of A Coffee Shop Romance. Lesson learned on that I have to write my own damn books whether readers like them or not.  I don't fault Stephanie C. for helping and her putting words into my stories to help expand also having a college romance available. What I regret isn't writing the book myself whether anyone would like it or not. I am not her wife J.J. Arias who I loved a good chunk of her stories. I do hope Stephanie C. does Publish her own books and get herself out there. 2023 will be a positive year, a positive outlook on why I am an Author and how far I have come. Yes, I am successful for b
